After seeing that acccident and combined with the fact she didn't wear HANS it is amazing how drivers escaped injuries in the past, basically the pre-2002 era.
I found a screenshot of an old video from me. It shows Michael Schumacher and his practice crash at Monaco 1999. And look how much his head was pushed forward in the moment of the impact:

And Michael sustained no injuries at all.

Wooo, that was an oldschool touring car racing move. Can't do that with GTs

This championship is great. ADAC GT and VLN are keeping GT racing alive much more than the supposed world, european and so on championships. (Add Blancpain to that, but I guess Ratel wasn't expecting its success.)

Didn't know a better topic to post this, but you can watch the rest of the races at Zandvoort (including Supercar Challenge later on) here:

EDIT: That ADAC Formel race was quite nuts  Beitske Visser won incredibly, after having to stay in hospital all night due to her crash yesterday

From what I read two cars crashed into a safety vehicle at full speed, one car ended up underneath it. No infos regarding their condition yet...

No idea, the crash happened on lap 2 and the race was cancelled. No news on the official site except a short statement on their FB page
