Jeez, you better all camp on the field of that old man on the left when you come up the road from Burnenville as he's usually faily priced and quite relaxed on camp size

For the fields on the right between the old circuit and the new road they charge 50 Euros per car and 30 Euros for a tent

But 80 Euros for a a minor 24h race that it sadly is without the GT2 European Championship and GT1 only doing their silly 2x60min
Luckily I can't leave before friday noon, so I sleep in the car

Nascar drivers! lol

Still tracking his progress could be fun. Will be be the Milka Duno of Spa or will he be able to drag a half decent result..?

Wasn't Les Combes a left back in the day?

Also updated first post with a link to the Broadcast Schedule (not too sure if all the times are correct though...) and extra link to a live streaming

I see Greg has been busy with his camera again

I take it the parade is in Spa itself. That looks so awesome. Is it an annual thing?

Yep, cars line up in town for the crowd, à la Le Mans. Then at about 8PM they take off for a trip to the track, which is about 8km.

Even in this night qualifying GT3 cars continue to see the pace. Certainly balance isn´t that good.

Something is extremely wrong if a GT3 car is just as fast as a GT2. Who fucked up GT racing?

Apparantely the camermen/directors are too lazy to get their asses up to the track and cover the race  (cameras etc are all installed)
No streaming for today, sadly...

Maassen and Menten won the GT1 quali race. No score for Bartels and Bertolini, and Grosjean crashed at Blanchimont. The Zonta/Kechele Reiter Lambo was 2nd, ahead of the Phoenix/Carsport Corvette of Hennerici and Hezemans

What happens if you go a bit too fast at the green flag after JUST cleaned oil on Eau Rouge, at night.

Found out that Mikey is doing a sort of video diary, pretty awesome. Hopefully he'll bring some attention to the race back in the USA!
And apparantely he's gonna start the race, looking forward

Getting quite excited for this race... Not much longer now! Should be a real cracker, with the BMW's against the Ferraris, and then the Audis right there to pick up any slack. GT3's inter-class battles should be great racing as well.

Race start in 15 minutes I suppose? Assuming Belgium is GMT+2 at this point.

Streaming supposed to start here 15 minutes before race start: http://www.total24hours.com/24h-spa/nl/videolive2.cfm
Live Timing supposed to be found here: http://static.sportresult.com/federatio ... lass=TOTAL
