Here in Argentina there is a lot of people going to the race. The san luis province govt thinks that if they can held this event well they will have F1 in a near future
This is a comeback for Argentina motorsports after a crisis time

That would be epic TBH, but it needs some adaptions for f1 that's for shure.

"some" :p

Isn't there a "normal" track near this Potrero? Can't remember name though. If there is such plan to have F1 GP, maybe it's for that one.

Yes, there is. But when the rumours started of a possible return to F1 to Argentina in San Luis, they where always saying that a new track was needed. So could be either the GT track modified or the other track modified. The other track (used for local touring racing) may big enough for F1, but obviously would need a massive improvement in facilities. And the layout would provide a horrible race.

Too bad those big asphalt run-offs. Actually, excluding the scenery, it does remind about Valencia (/runs away)... wide track and concrete and tarmac everywhere.

better this way, since I hate distorted aspect ratios.

After watching the qualifying, the track sucks. Remind me of Bahrein.

Only the atmosphere is great with the montains, the lake...

I like this new circuit. Especially the section in the second screenshot you posted Toto87 is amazing. The only thing I dislike is the width of the track. It's way too wide at some parts.

Is Matias Russo the same as Matias Rossi that drives in Turismo Carretera?

I hate this track as much as I hate Valencia, they could have saved money and went to a decent track instead :whistling: Costs a ton to go to Potrero de Los Funes... In Europe FIA is complaining if the walls are closer as 10m from the white line, look at that track... How much space have you got there, 30cm on more as 50% of the track..? :lol: How could this get homologated.. lol
