RLM are trackside, so don't have to deal with this terrible TV director.

Good race, but this reference time bullshit needs to go. I like the Code 60s though.

Are there certain times they have to achieve each lap?

Certain times they have to stay over (leaders were 2:05) or they get a penalty. Designed to equalise classes. Actually makes racing impossible. Who'd drive fast on a race track for goodness sake?

FIA GT1 and FIA GT3 will race at Slovakiaring in mid june 2012. I didn't find any confirmation for it yet, except the site of the track itself:

http://slovakiaring.sk/fia-gt1-world-championship-a-fia-gt3-european-championship/

hopefully it's true, if so, I will be there 8)

Well, Toyota's serious about racing hybrid cars then. I really like GT300, a very varied and unique category.

Also Subaru will ditch the GT300 Legacy and race with a new BRZ.

the way the rear diffuser hangs bothers the shit out of me.

It's got a V8 descended from the old IndyCar one behind the driver, and KERS.

Soooooo. What's likely to be better this season - World GT3 (the 1 is misplaced in the FIA's official documentation) and it's European sister series or Blancpain? I have a feeling one of the three may struggle for a decent sized and/or quality grid as the universal lack o' cash goes on.
