But when theres only 5 min of the race left, getting a lap back will make no difference. If there was still an hour of the race to go it would have been different, but at that stage Guidi should have backed off and left the cars on the same lap to fight

He was also in his own fight to keep his position, albeit a lap back, though.

Great race and great finish....side by side over the line, that's proper Endurance racing
