Better than China, that's for sure.

Don't know if this has been posted before but the GT World Championship will be based on GT3 regulations for 2012. The organizer Stephane Ratel failed to find enough teams for the GT1 cars. 7 teams of 2 cars signed up until now for the GT1 WC but the FIA set a deadline that the field and the calender has to be set until the end of October. So Ratel changed his mind with the GT1 and changed it to GT3 cars where the old GT1 are still allowed in 2012 but they will be equalized to GT3 cars. He his now hoping the many GT3 teams will sign up. Maybe teams like Black Falcon or Schubert from ADAC GT Masters.

Article in German.

Also, GT2/GTE cars will not be allowed.

The previous article yesterday (http://www.motorsport-total.com/mehr/ne ... 92306.html, use Google Translate) went maybe a bit too far at this point and suggested and if this Plan B doesn't work out the WC status could be given to ACO.

After a 3rd spot at the Nurby 24H and a 2nd spot at the Spa 24H, the chassis number 1101 BMW Z4 of Schubert Motorsport has now won the 24 Hours of Barcelona. Might not be something "HOLY SHIT"-worthy, but that's a remarkable string of results nonetheless. Not a single problem in any of those races for that car.

Hmm, 25 cars were entered for GT Open at Monza and only 21 start.

Bad rolling start they were pretty much single file.

That was silly, the Ferrari turned in like the Foed GT wasn't even there.

2 people got injured during the last Belcar race in Zolder when a Ferrari with brake problems could'nt come to a stop at it's pitbox. One of them is still critical.
