When did Motors TV commentary switch from being about 10 seconds behind to being about 3 seconds ahead? :?

Doesn't really matter where they are located as it isn't just the commentary that is out sync. MotorsTV entire sound has been out of sync for years now, it just varies from several seconds behind, to several seconds in front.

Champion without a victory, haha.

Proves that the points system sucks. ALMS style is better, where both cars can score points for the team but only the higher finishing car counts.

Petit Le Mans entry list

-1 Pug. Hopefully just evaluating the crash aftermath...

And three Penskes! Best proto grid (quality over quantity)... since 1999 maybe?

No Mansell clan car then. Thank God

Of course not. It's the usual thing for Mansell to do. Remember that Jordan test and his impending comeback?

Of course. It did seem a bit far-fetched that they'd somehow get hold of a proto and stick himself and his 2 crash-happy sons in there despite having never driven a proto before

Good to see LNT back as well btw

The points system doesn't suck. Rocky and Premat finished 2nd at every event except Silverstone where it was 4th. Peugeot on the other hand were erratic and inconsistent and ended up losing the title through having such varied races.

The reason it happened without a win is due to Peugeots inconsistency and the fact it is only a handful of races. Sports car racng is about more than speed, and Audi knew that. Peugeot still haven't mastered that.

True. I don't care who won but it's not the ideal points system either. ALMS style points system is more justified.

Actually I don't understand what's the point of having drivers' and teams' championship in a 5-race season. Especially when that's mostly the same thing. Manufacturer's championship is different since both cars scores for that (afaik?) and Audi happened to snatch that one too.

Very, very angry Lion (hopefully two) expected to be seen in Road Atlanta.

53,000 spectators for Silverstone.

Probably mostly to do with all the free tickets from Peugeot, which means they are probably extra miffed at losing everything to Audi at this race ...

According to the event's schedule on Road Atlanta's website, it's 1,000 miles or 10 hours maximum. Speed probably isn't broadcasting the whole race.
