Egor's been trying his best to throw it away but he always ends up back in front.

I do worry for this series, what are we down to now? 12 cars?
(Ok Vax didn't start and someone else threw it away on the warm up lap but still...)

This may well be the final season of FRenault or it'll limp on into obscurity Auto GP style... :(

Well once Renault pulled out this was the way it was always going to go. It's dead unless it gets a new backer.

With the fight for the lead yesterday and the drivers that have come through it, it'll be a shame.

Renault pulled out of F1 but are back already, can't they get this series back too? They don't seem to know what they want

Renault took the budget used to run this series and gave it to the F1 team, so either it cost an enormous amount of money to run it, or the F1 team really are scraping the barrel.

Or renault are cheap and didn't want to invest more in F1 so they had to scrap this series' funding.

FIA killed the series, as you need "40" points to get to F1, GP2 grants that, F-Renault only gives 37. Another "fuck you Bernie" moment.

That's on the FIA, not Bernie.

Doubt they'll race and when they end up bringing in the SC, it will probably out again after 1 lap.

Did anyone spot the marshall running across the track in Eau Rouge with a car approaching?

Yes, me too. There were almost no spectators this weekend and there wasn't much to do off-track. Also just 15 cars... 8O Too bad Renault pulled out because I really liked the World Series. This serie is dying. Besides that.... the support program was quite nice with the International GT Open (although there weren't a lot of cars either).
