Wow, interesting photo angles there. You can see the skid marks in the third photo of where Cevert was pulling a higher gear than his team mate Jackie Stewart and had too much wheel spin and lost it at that section. |

Thanks for these pictures, totally new to me, too. With the tires marks on th ground, we can definitively imagine how that accident happened. And incredible pictures quality, as they are from 1973! |

wow, new angles, new views add a bit more to it all. surprised at how flimsy the armco was and how far away the side pod and wheel were from the car. |

Did you mean a lower gear ? I'd imagine a hugher gear means less rpm and less likely to wheel spin. Also, who is the driver rushing to help in the first picture ? Stewart ? |

In the first picture you can see the marshall who tried to find pulse and on far right the photographer who took that graphic black/white-picture of it. These two pictures are taken at the same time. |
