he did great in the German F3, considering he came straight from karts

I agree. He was very impressive. Although he is racing for RC, which isn't the best team out there.

Im suprised that roberto Merhi got a Hitech seat.

Merhi could win this weekend also with 17yr the Renault WEC 2.0 and Eurocup 2.0. i am not surprised.

WEC:
1 Roberto Merhi, 164.0 pts
2 Daniel Ricciardo, 161.0 pts
3 Andrea Caldarelli, 102.0 pts

Eurocup:
1.Bottas 116;
2.Ricciardo 115;
3.Merhi 105;
4.Caldarelli 101

I know, i was more suprised he is with Hitech.

good news for one of the Belgian talents

Frederic Vervisch - winner of both the Asian and German F3 championship - will participate in the last race of the F3 Euroseries with RC Motorsport :thumbsup:

How can it be "British F3" if they race at Bucarest, Spa and Monza?

British tracks are the best imo, judging from racing sims (Cadwell, Castle Combe...)

They used to go to Castle Combe but they haven't for a couple of years. I think it was safety/facility-related or maybe the noise. Cadwell's just too dangerous

They did go to Pembrey back in the day. I went to a couple of the F3 meetings back in 97 and 98. Loads of familiar names racing, including in 97 a certain Australian F1 driver

They've gone abroad for years, though. Usually once or twice a season

They were forced out of Castle Combe because 11 people moved there knowing there was a track nearby and complained about the noise. I want to have those wankers shot :x

Aye, some people should really be grated to death on a giant cheese grater :x

What about Knockhill and Croft? Do they still race there? (Brit F3, GT, BTCC?)

Gotta love those british tracks :D

They left Knockhill and Mondello, but they were at Croft early this year. Clearly the amazing circuits of Rockingham and Budapest are more important than Scotland, Ireland and Wales to the British championship

Plus Knockhill's nowhere near a house - though the expansion of Dunfermline, that might change.

Spa has always been a tradition on the calendar, the other foreign tracks however have no place on it. British F3 needs to remember that it is a British series and should race primarily in Britain and not think of itself as the Euro Series.

I'm just waiting for some troll to turn round and say "No, British F3 needs more foreign rounds because the tracks are better. Oh and more races at Rockingham because it's the best track in the world evar"

Well you won't see that because I've already taken them out back and shot them before they have the chance :whistling:

It's a group of teams, isn't it? At least, it was the senior teams who decided to stick with FOTA than go with ToCA.

Ratel's driving the series off a cliff.

The F3 teams themselves. Hence why they didn't want to join up with the BTCC
