Goddam....that wheel that hit the side pod of the red car....

Pretty sure there's also a "all supports must be finished by 2 hours before the start of the f1 race" clause so this might be a short race if it gets going.

Well they have the drivers parade and track cleaning there. Makes sense but sucks for GP2

Sc restart for no reason.

That's a rule nowadays - every restart after red flag is behind SC regardless of the reason.

How it can be lap 2? It was red flagged immediately. No rules allow second start anymore?

The clock is running whole the time and they ended lap 1 as all drivers entered the pits.

Another thing is this crash highlights the danger of tarmac runoff. Nato would never have been there to hit Gasly if it had been grass and gravel.

And Sirotkin caused second crash as he rejoined the track from the run off area.

Don't think this race is going to happen.

And if there was gravel in the corner where the pileup happened, marshals needn't to fix the barrier but could quickly recover the cars from the gravel.

They have about an hour before the track needs to be cleared. So they might be able to do half race, if Charlie is not having too long nap.

And there would not have been danger for that one driver to be seriously injured because other car climbed on top of another.

The race will not be resumed. I guess it's no points to anyone.

I think Spa 1998 start chaos was cleared quicker than this minor pileup.

What a great end to the season. Why did they start the race later than usual? With the normal start time there would have been plenty of extra time. Fire whiting

Tecpro barriers seem to take an inordinate amount of time to repair

Cynic in me says that the only difference between race and red flag was that the cars weren't moving.
