Penske is a fool for bringing this race back. Aside from the fact the track isn't all that hot, what's the point of running in the motor city when the only motor in the series is from halfway around the world? Just my opinion of course, but I just can't see the logic of racing at either Detroit or MIS unless you have Chevy or Ford involved... And that ain't going to happen... Not even with the new engines. I will of course watch the race on Sunday since I can't be at the track where my heart is (Oswego Speedway... See avatar.) |

-- Two groups of randomly assigned cars compete for 20 minutes each. The fastest six cars from each group advance to another round of qualifying. All I heard was Sears Point and Chicago.
