I'm confused about that race, they went red for a long time for a very small bump against the techpro barriers (but the implication was maybe there was a bigger crash out there that injured a driver, (reports of a broken collarbone which surely couldn't have been the minor hit with 2 cars in the runoff they showed on the feed)

Then they come back to racing for another incident in the runoff, huge flight through the air off the kerbs resulting in 2 wrecked cars and another crashing to avoid.....only SC

Either way, neither would've happened if the drivers didn't have the oppurtunity to floor it through the runoff.... :whistling:

I was confused at first, because Italian F4 series didn't have a massive crash. But you were talking about Formula Regional Race, where first race was discussed in F3 thread. Image

Yeah, it's pretty common that if there has already been a delay due to a red flag, race directors will not delay it any further even if there's even bigger accident. Sometimes if there's 2 or 3 laps to go, they don't even bother bringing out the SC.

The Japanese F4 race from Motegi this morning was really, really good, woke up and enjoyed it delayed

So lets hope tonight's race is just as fun:

What a first lap as the lead changed hands about 4 times, including the top 2 crashing out halfway around :8:

It seems as soon as someone gets defensive here, it slows them down allowing 2/3 other cars to join the fight

If that's for the lead, great, if it's for 2nd you can pretty much hand the win to the leader and they'll never catch him fighting so hard :p
