tbh, I re-watched both races and DRS was hardly used and it had a very small gap due to it being Monza. Even in F1 the DRS have little to no effect.

That particular battle had no DRS at all. It's curious because I don't remember these FR 3.5 cars being able to follow that closely on corners on other tracks. I think because it's Monza and therefore the use of flat wings, there is much less top aero dependance

Sainz is an intriguing case. He was mediocre on British F3 against Harvey, Serralles and etc. They were all trashed in Pau when faced Marciello and the Euro F3. He didn't impress in GP3 either.

Then, he was the most impressive in the F1 test, had an absolute master race on the Saturday wet race of FR 3.5 in Hungary, last year. And now is dominating easily the field this year.

I was thinking that maybe Felix da Costa would be given a go replacing JEV but that might be off with this showing from Sainz

I heard from someone last year that Sainz really impressed Red Bull during the young driver test.

Yeah, I heard that rumour too. For some very odd reason, this guy seems seriously fast on the top machinery like F1, FR 3.5 but not impressive on slower cars like F3 and GP3

JEV really needs to convincely beat Kvyat this year or his F1 career will be over by 2015

Man the camera direction for Renault 2.0 has been shite. Missed the start of two incidents.

I'll give you three guesses as to the FR3.5 poleman but you're only going to need one.

Field seems to be much more closely bunched than Monza, which is a plus. A shame that there are still only 21 cars, though.
