The mediocre driver known as Conor Daly has secured a last-minute test with a GP2 team in Abu Dhabi next week.

At least GP2 is the right place for him without bringing money to an IndyCar ride.

He's better than Rossi.

I'm not sure they sent enough trucks to deal with it.

Most of them were dispatched to deal with Conor's ego.

Apparently the crash started similarly as Rosberg/Karthikeyan at the same spot. Regalia was the another driver this time.

Yeah, I'd be pretty impressed if somebody managed to roll at Abu Dhabi without the help of another car.

I assumed he'd managed to bounce and roll off the barriers, bit naughty to be hitting another car during a test session

Apparently the other driver just merged into the racing line at low speed while Daly was on a flyer.

Season begins this weekend in Bahrain.

I've been working on a preview eBook with another young journo:
http://richlandf1.com/wp-content/upload ... _Small.pdf

It has:
- Forewords from Will Buxton & Fabio Leimer
- Interviews with seven drivers, including Marciello, Vandoorne and Rossi
- Full rundown of the teams and drivers.

Alex Rossi was interviewed by Will Buxton this past weekend and said that nothing other than the title will do. Hmmm I like Alex and think he's good but that's never going to happen.

Great job. Can't believe you're giving it away for free

Logistically it was too difficult to set it up to charge - and it gets a wider audience if we make it free. Even if it was only a pound or two, people get hesitant. Plus it's not difficult for people to download and then share it. We're planning a season review one, so perhaps we'll charge, we don't know. We were thinking about charging but it was just easier to do it this way!

But cheers mate, I take donations :p

Never going to happen? He's got 4 drivers who are at or above his level, and two of those are rookies, one of them, while consistent, has never won a race. He does have to win the title. There's no reason for him not to challenge for it. I do agree that it isn't likely, but he's correct with what he says. It's the title or IndyCars for him next year.

What I've highlighted is what I was trying to say. He's got the talent to be able to challenge but I don't think he'll have the team to provide him that consistently good equipment.

The line-up for this weekend has been confirmed.

As per the tests, it's Axcil Jeffries at Trident, Jon Lancaster at MP Motorsport and Conor Daly at Lazarus.
