Even if a sc had come out everyone would have gone past & had to avoid the debris once at speed anyway so it made no difference.

SC at full speed? wtf

With DRS, Palmer couldn't have defended that one from Evans and the battle would be long over by now

Not only this series no longer serves it's main purpose(that being to promote drivers to F1 as FR 3.5, GP3 and Euro F3 have been more succesful in that regard, lately) but the racing will get dull from next year on.

Dying expensive series imo. But I don't mean in near future, but in the long term if things don't get fixed.

Because they all would have gone through the debris by the time the sc was called, so all would have gone through it at full speed before the sc came out.

It came off a car at the front & there was no time to call a sc & slow them all down b4 they had all already gone past it.

I bet we will see him at Marussia or Caterham next year, if they still exist.

I much prefer Palmer winning than Nasr, who is a mediocre driver.
Vandoorne and Marciello are, perhaps, the more talented drivers of the current GP2 grid but can't see any of them being promoted to F1 next year, unless taking big money a la Ericsson. Sainz will likely take the Toro Rosso seat and, if I were Ocon, I would do a full season on FR 3.5 next year instead of this series.

Please no, I'd rather do a lobotomy on myself with a screwdriver and condom.

Is it just me, or does Julian or whatever his bloody name is, not look or sound anything like his father?

Going by his driving ability, I'd seriously consider doing a DNA test on the milkman cos he didn't inherit them from JP.

As opposed to the mediocre Palmer who's been in GP2 longer?

I don't think Palmer is that bad really. OK he may not be one of the greats, But he's not that bad either.

He's shown good speed, good race craft & has been one of the best overtakers in GP2 the past 2 years pulling off some brilliant overtakes.

I'd at least like to see him get a run in an F1 car just to see what he could do in one.

That was my point, he obviously didn't inherit his driving ability from his father, so it must have been the milkman.

What is with the current breed of average and unlikeable English drivers?

Palmer and Chilton drove like turds in every formula and in each year apart from the final GP2 season. In fact Chilton still does and I expect Palmer to return to that form in 2015.

Maybe because in reality they aren't very good?
