Wins for Carbone and Molina this weekend. Surely van der Garde isn't far from the title if he hasn't clinched it yet. He's got something like a 60-odd point lead now

van der Garde clinched the title...needed 8th place in race 2, and he finished 8th

but...he isn't good enough for formula 1 imo

Gotta agree with that, thought he was pretty good, but during his 3 year F3 period he only got 1 victory so he didn't impressed me with that.

For Van Der Garde winning the championship, does this mean he gets a Renault F1 Test drive later in the year?

i don't think so, since he is in the mclaren driver development team
