Let's be honest...

Would you rather see Franchitti win the title?

Franchitti has been mathematically eliminated!

Yeah, thought so.

I have been a Power fan since ChampCar but man I have been pulling for RHR since the start of the season.

Power has been the driver of the year and has also had to deal with some misfortune which benefitted RHR. While it would have been nice to see a non-Penske, non-Ganassi driver winning the title, I don't think RHR deserves as much as Will Power does.

Power has been miserable on ovals as usual whereas RHR has been a better all-rounder so I think he deserves it more than Will. And I think you would agree that RHR too has had more than enough misfortune not of his doing that ended up benefiting Power.

This is quite a good read for those who readily compare IndyCar with European series.

Here's an article about the Bourdais/Newgarden crash with a couple pics of his cracked tub. Also good insight into the implications and possible consequences this wreck might have for both teams in the future.

Interesting note: it's the first DW12 to be completely written off. Pretty impressive that we almost had an entire season without losing a single car.

Wait, Conway's car at Indy wasn't written off?

Damn.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Maybe they still use it as garden pottery in front of their shop?

Indeed, very good article from a guy who spends most of his time in F1. I've got a feeling that IndyCar is going to the right direction and when someone with a long experience in paddocks makes an article this long with nothing but compliments, it's very good to hear that I'm not alone with that feeling. :)

edit:

here's a picture of Bourdais car's tub. 8O
