Doubts of whether this race is on for this year or not has been lifted in the offseason thanks to Andretti Sports Marketing. A good race last year that's met with a crowd that's slightly better than an average Marlins game (which isn't saying much), IndyCar comes back to West Allis for this 225-miler.

Will all you Americans just fricking well turn up to this race so we can always have it?!

Milwaukee: Real racin' as its humanly possible to get!

Can't wait for this one, and for once the Indycar strategy of back to back races right after the 500 makes sense.
It SHOULD'VE gone Milwaukee then Texas but I guess no-one wants to risk pissing off the big boss there so to hell with tradition eh?

I hope for a repeat of the great race we saw here last year.

Is Milwaukee another timezone than the previous Indycar races? Start time in the first post is 12:30 pm, that's 18:30 cet (six hour time difference) but MotorsTV start their live broadcast at 19:00 cet.

Wisconsin is in the Central Time Zone so yes, 6 hours behind UK (BST), 7 behind Europe (erm, I think, CET is presently GMT+2 yes?).

The Milwaukee After indy thing died when they couldn't get a promoter, but I agree. History dictates Indy, Milwaukee, Texas...

And for the first time ever, I +1 a post Paul makes!

It's not 1998 anymore...which is sad, that was a good year for open-wheel racing.

That's an interesting groove they're running, probably to keep up momentum with these sewing machine motors.
