Yeah, it's Buemi this weekend. J-E Vergne drove it last time out in Austria.

Nah, Stevens just ended up parked in the middle of the track, which is why it needed a SC.

Oh look.

A race where no-one fucks anything on da Costa's car up and he's at the front and pulling away.

Paul Ricard this weekend. Magnussen comfortable out front in race 1 from AFdC and Vandoorne. Sainz continuing to do well in 7th.

No Sirotkin until tomorrow as he is demoing a Sauber in Sochi.

I assume they are using a paint which is too light in order to affect how the DRS flap operates; maybe the lower weight allows the flap to open slightly even when the device is not activated.

Maybe because I like Kevin but it sounds a bit fishy to me. Apparently the car was given the all clear before a particular steward decided he wanted to take a look at the DRS flap. I'd be surprised if they're using ultra light weight paint and gaining an advantage from that. I would presume that the force of the air itself is slamming the wing shut anyway.

Then again, this is good for Kevin I guess. He must get used to this crap when he makes it to F1.

DRS has such shitty performance on lower level cars anyway I don't know why they run it.
They don't run DRS in GP2 because with less downforce and lower speeds it's much less efficient.

Plus the way WSBR run it means they can use it to defend as much as attack so it cancels out if both cars are using it at the same time.

Such B.S, this penalty. Hope WSBR drop DRS for 2014.

Heavy rain at Paul Ricard, the Megane race was about to start but the track has been closed for now.
