All 3 of Dario's wins have come under yellow. Must be some sort of record.

General rule of thumb: If Dario leads within 10 to go, count on a race-deciding yellow flag.

Or just a matter of being at the right place at the right time ?

Just the simple fact that so few people have even won the 500 at least three times would probably make that a given.

I think now would be a good time to place Dan in the past and I mean this in the nicest possible way

We had everything after 2011, before the first race and now here.

Now that I'm thinking about it, If the positions were reversed (Sato defending over Dario for the win) I would have found this awesome... :p

Maybe Sato's gutsy driving in Indycar over the years has won most people over, but there'd still be a few old fashioned guys out there who wouldn't take to that too well...

Indycar is probably happy that someone who can actually speak english won.

To me, both Dario and Will complain a lot, and they are both incredibly talented drivers. The difference between them is that Dario seems to moan about the tiniest things when something doesn't go his way, and yet he makes some dumb moves himself and always calls them off as "racing incidents" (Long Beach for example). On the other hand, Will generally moans about big things that any driver in his position would be upset about (the finish of the New Hampshire race for example). Will comes off as a hothead, but it just shows how passionate he is, and he very rarely makes any dumb moves. Dario just comes off as a whiny little bitch, and his wife and team owner are both incredibly annoying. Sato's move was aggressive, but Dario certainly should have left him more room. If he backed off early and let Sato by, and then built up momentum to repass him at the other side of the track, we would've had a great, clean finish today. But a great race overall

Thinking back, I could be wrong, because I was actually at the race, but I think everyone was all "HOLY SHIT" more than anything else.

I don't know if I can do the 600 at this rate. I've had 1 hour of sleep since Friday. That, combined with how bad the 600 is going to be, might actually kill me :p .

Not really about Dan, more who was at fault between Hildebrand and the backmarker.
I mean it was mainly poor old JR but in the heat of the moment people weren't quite so charitable :p

I think it's cos they're 10-15mph slower than the old car in the draft, I might be wrong though, they looked quit slow on restarts too.

Is is a good time to say I just think Dario was defending hard and didn't do anything wrong?

I know he's as two faced as a coin and would cry blue murder if the roles were reversed, but it was the last lap of the race and nobody remembers who comes second at Indy (unless you only have 3 wheels) so what's he supposed to do? just pull over and say "after you"?

Fixed it for you. It's time to move on from Dan Wheldon, the driver killed in a horrible accident now, and remember Dan Wheldon, the best driver at Indy for a generation instead.

Yeaa everyone was shocked. There was some moaning about Kimball but nothing against Wheldon.
