Surprising how the same cars can produce two completely different races. Today's race sure gives hopes for the rest of the season. Let's hope for more of the same in LB.

Well, we're on the road about 2 hours before we were hoping to be and that race was awesome to watch. I had IMS Radio on the scanner and there were a lot of passes they missed.

My vantage point was high above turns 15-16 and I could see turn 5 as well as the backstretch near the fan zone. There were a lot of people here, and they were especially jammed in the shade. There were talks of a contract extension and I think this race warrants that extension.

What were crowd numbers like? and more importantly did people seem to enjoy the race?

Someone said that the crowd was around 100k, someone else said that some concession stands sold out of food.

The crowd I could see seemed to enjoy themselves. I enjoyed myself since there weren't many people on the hill I was on, then again, it wasn't the closer incline.

Great race, loved it. Sebastien Bourdais was racing like a demon. Great drive and his car's paint scheme is really cool aswell.

Wish one of the Lotus teams would run the GoldLeaf colors.

Na, that's more JPS colours, Gold Leaf was red and white from the late 60's early 70's

Exactly, they should have one team in traditional Lotus green too.

Weekend attendance was 81,378. Sunday race attendance was 52,879. I'd say those are pretty good numbers.

Just saw the race. Brilliant.

Oh, and IndyCar, give ALL the fucking races to NBC.

No wonder, I saw the prices. For only $90 you have tickets plus all access to paddock. In F1 for that price you have a T-shirt.

Every race (and other sport event) on an American channel is a marathon of commercials.
