any guess on how many crashes will be missed by camera's this year? They've set the bar pretty high with that Boyd blowover two years ago.

That was rather similar situation. Anyway, I'd say that was not a difficult prediction given Macau TV crew's track record.

Hope so.

But Year after Year I asking myself why they didnt install a Camera that is catching the Straight for the whole Race.

They have 2 Cameras, 1 catching it from behind and 1 from ahead. But they managed to miss the 2nd Blowover in 2 years. On a Straight!!!

I dont get it.

That was Kevin Magnussen who flipped after hitting the back of Buller.

Carlo Sainz Jr was also involved and can't seem to indentify the guys who was taken to the hostipal. It's either Hywel Lloyd or Yuhi Sekiguchi and since the colors of their cars are the same (yellow & red) I don't know.

EDIT: It's Hywel Lloyd who was taken to the hospital. Hope he is okay.

Yeah, he was really in a good pace, he deserved it, but Wittman was a lot faster. I wonder if Juncadella was capable to keep Wittman at the line without the crash... :p

It was more the incompetence of the cameramen rather than the fault of the director.

Yes, right.
But it seems to me, that the one that flipped missed the fence. :o That's lucky. For him.

"Kevin Magnussen escaped with an injured left knee following a high speed crash into the fencing at Mandarin Bend, after he clipped the back of William Buller’s car and was launched into the air. Carlos Sainz and Hywel Lloyd also crashed trying to avoid getting caught up in the incident. "

Magnussen hit the Fence ! And there is CCTV Footage of the crash ! Hopefully it'll be released

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/96364

Magnussen's car was catapulted into the air, and struck the catchfencing "20 feet in the air" according to his team boss Trevor Carlin, who was shown CCTV footage of the accident.
