Fingers crossed, it's a good series that euro sport made it hard to follow. Hope they take up gp3 aswell.

Worked for a lot of other drivers though as well. Not all karting stars failed, although some have but a lot of really good karters went all the way. Sponsors backing is a key factor as well some couldn't continue. These two are special (Nyck and Alex) and i really expect them to at least reach F1. We will see though.

de Vries is backed up my McLaren just like Hamilton was, don't think finances are the main worry

Glad to know Nasr managed to get GP2, there were some doubts because the series is more expensive than the World Series, another option Nasr considered.

But, thankfully, Banco do Brasil "BB" - for the very first time getting involved with Motorsports (so it's a historical event) is sponsoring Felipe and also OGX company from Eike Batista, who's also financing Bruno Senna in Williams. It smells like big brazilian companies, from government or not, are willing to support new rising stars If they actually come out. If Nasr do its homework very well, I'm sure he can grab a title in GP2 on his first year and then focus on Formula One very very soon!

Apart from Nasr, Gutierrez & Calado, this year's line-up so far leaves me a bit flat. I think FR3.5 has a greater line-up this season - Alex Rossi, Magnussen, Frijns, Bianchi, Korjus. It's a shame that the ladder is so congested that we can't see these drivers in the same series.

Super Nova becomes Venezuela GP Lazarus. No points given to who sponsors the team.

I guess FR 3.5 really overtook GP2 this season in terms of quality. GP2 is left with some talented drivers and mostly pay drivers.

Well, testing didnt look too promising for vd Garde, but then it is testing after all...

Valssechi quickest in all 3 testdays, Gutierrez & Ericsson also fast on all days
There will be another 3 days of testing, starting 6 march...
