it's just the oval version that uses the side pods, the street/road course version doesn't have it.

The image is the road cource spec concept car which was 1st unveiled last May.

That car didn't have the bodywork infront of the rear wheels, Had smaller mirrors & a slightly different nise/front wing design.

Something I noticed about the new car recently is that it seems Dallara are running it with mirrors taken straght off the GP2 car.

Also is it just me or have they taken the engine cover off the Chevrolet powered car?

Road course testing was done with the bodywork infront of the rear wheels.
