Live Timing indicates Simona had a mechanical failure.

Kimball should have done that right turn at Indy.

Yeah, then suppose he wrecks both him and Will, and Dario sneaks away with the win.

Yeaa and that's the reason Dario didn't try anything, Helio would have made it so hard there would have been contact.

Probably my favorite race of the weekend.

Well I didn't get to follow a lot of the race at the circuit but looks like there wasn't a ton of action. Especially compared to Toronto and Nurburgring earlier today. Nevertheless as a fan this was probably my most enjoyable Indy yet. The facilities were great and well laid out. Ample parking available. Nice views from the grandstands and everything was really well organized. Can't wait to go back next year.

Some pictures from the circuit earlier today...

Thats incredible stuff Karan. Typically, I figure the fan perspective makes it tough to get a decent shot, but you seem to not have a problem. The fence lines almost add something to the pics! Great work sir!

My weekend was great and terrible all at the same time. I just got back from my local hospital, being hooked up for some extreme antibiotics for an infection in my salivary gland. Nurse said its the most 'impressive' sized swollen face she has seen in 11 years of nursing. Anyways, things are looking to improve here in the coming days with all the different drugs I have been hooked up with. Infield care centre gave me the wrong antibiotic on Saturday morning, so its gone untreated for like 4 days in total.

My photos are coming online slowly over at Motorsport.com, as my upload rate has fallen over the weekend due to the ongoing medical issue that worsened as the weekend went on. There are 14 race shots up right now, with hundreds more to come tomorrow, from both FIL races and the INDYCAR race...

Despite my aching and sore as hell face, I am very please with my results...knowing all the Indycar shooters helps for getting that centre spot in victory lane.

Thanks guys! :)

Shame to hear about the infection there. Looking forward to seeing the shots on motorsport.com! Yesterday was just a beautiful weather day, perfect for photography. It would've been nice to be in the same spot as the professional photographers without the fences in the way, but I tried to make the most of it. Quite sunburnt this morning however!
