Covy is still in Calgary. Delta Airlines Blows. Looks like a free, yet extremely inconvenient night in Minneapolis for me. Have fun guys...

I'm not talking about you

Complaints involving inept airlines are one thing, you pay them to fly with them, and they screw it up. I'd be bitching too

Moaning about what others post on a message board is just retarded tho

Hah, my office is only a few blocks from the Slugger museum. You all should have said something and I could have joined you all for lunch or something.

You never volunteered us with information that you were available for lunch. Why not come to the track and see us all on pole day?

I am not near the Slugger museum but you guys could have come out to east Louisville and seen me at work!

You guys probably drove past my exit on I-65, but I wasn't home. I wasted my day over on CSX's CC Subdivision. Did buy a book called "Auto Racing USA 1986" for $8 though, can't complain about that. I don't have a bunch of interesting racing stuff at my house anyway, just a ton of DVD/VHS tapes, a bunch of magazines and yearbooks.

Hope you guys enjoy the race.

The first little air she got as she went to the wall is what's really troubling. They took steps to try to reduce the possibility of that. I suspect that whatever broke was most likely a suspension part and as the car spun the broken suspension opened the side to increase airflow under the car, thus lifting it off the ground before impact. The second time the car took to the air was similar to the way Wheldon took flight in the 500 a few years ago after hitting the wall. With the suspension broken to pieces it allowed air to get under the car for a second time and off she went.

Terrible accident but great to see she got out of it relatively OK.

To our members heading to the speedway, have a wonderful, safe trip!

Well, I said something about an announcement, and so I've got a bit of a story to tell.

A few weeks ago, my father was speaking to the head of customer services at the track, and she said that ESPN were looking for fans that have been going for generations. My dad told her to give ESPN his name, but he didn't think he'd get selected.

Well, ESPN called him. And after a few emails, I can confirm that ESPN will be interviewing myself and my father on Saturday in the evening, and they'll be sending a camera to go watch myself (and Joey, if I can get him in the shot) during Qualifications.

If we are selected, our interview will be aired during the broadcast of the race.

And I'll give TBK a shoutout.

Yeah, I now leave in about nine hours. Walking back into my house after getting back from the airport was miserable. Luckily I had a room mate with our first bottle of home brew to cheer me up.

Wish me luck for no delays. I will be missing Fast Friday practice due to this...Frig.

See y'all in Indy!

They talked about Simona on the Indianapolis news last night. Showed a picture from her twitter account with both hands bandaged up. She's going to meet with the IRL doctors this morning to see what they say. I had first and second degree burns on my right hand when I was 16. No fun at all. She should be good to go by race day if someone can make the race for her.....
