What happens with the back end of the field if the rest of the session is washed out?

If it rains all day, all 26 qualified drivers are locked in and when they get to resume qualifying during the week, position 27 to 33 will be up for grabs.

If it blows through quickly and that second clump of storms misses the track, I'd imagine they'll be able to get things dried out. This band doesn't look particularly deep.

Rain's almost through the area. Its not raining just outside the track.

It rained like this last night down in Louisville RIGHT as I needed to run outside to grab my bowling balls to take them into the bowling alley for a tournament. It had been sunny and clear all day until that point, but I got positivey SOAKED. This past several weeks have been horrible for rain here in the Midwest. (We've had measurable precipitation in the Louisville area every single Saturday since the first week in April! Local tracks are struggling with rainouts!)

What if Danica fails to qualify for whatever reason?

Do you guys think that GoDaddy would buy another driver out of their ride to put Danica in?

Yeah that storm last night blew through pretty quickly though. This one looks very similar, thankfully. Looks like Joey and Chris are confirming that as well.

They'd do whatever it took to get Danica in the field. Sad, but true.
