Seems like they are going to restart anyway, eventhough the drivers are complaining about the terrible conditions, saying its nearly impossible to drive.

Just going around under the SC, in all fairness these conditions look impossible

Amazes me how these guys race under terrible conditions, and everytime there's a few raindrops in F1 the race is started under SC or red flagged.

Andre Lotterer is the 2011 Formula Nippon champion!! After so many years driving in the series, he finally won a championship, well deserved, he was allways a fast driver, and allways got close to a title.

What a fantastic news and what a great year for him: 24 hours of Le mans and Formula Nippon! I'm a long time Lotterer fan 8)

Great!

Did somebody capture the stream by any chance?

Congratulations to Lotterer, totally the best year of his career.

I read Hirate and Caldarelli were brought to the medical center. Hopefully they're ok.

I missed the action in the thread, I was following it by webcam with a friend from Japan, its nice to see that F-Nippon drive even in those terrible conditions, its a lesson for F1, about the SC crash, the problem was not the rain, of course the rain made it worse, but the SC was too slow, so they were struggling to keep it so slow.

how can you say that? the drivers they interviewed said they couldn't see a thing!!! one of them said they couldn't even see the numbers on their steering wheel, and suddenly there were cars in front of them.

Like I said, the rain made it worse, but the SC speed was the biggest problem, but of course in these conditions its really complicated, cause it was not only rain, it was very foggy too, I was amazed that they continued the race, I thinked it was going to be cancelled.
