Rossi needed that result. But he needs to go one better if he wants momentum for the late season push.

In Hungary the Safety Car has come out after a start crash between 2 cars the tv company seemingly couldn't be bothered filming.

As I type this, it comes in...

Was that race 2 start crash missed by TV cameras?
I was there yesterday, in Turn 1. Nothing spectacular, but its not very often, I get to see a crash live... :p
It was a great day at the circuit. Most of the time I sat in the upper grandstand in the last turn. Most of the last sector was visible from there.
As usual for the WSBR, the visitors werent allowed to enter other parts of the track, than the start-finish straight, which sucks...

Is it usual for the other tracks for WSBR also?

EDIT: Oh, and I made a spotters guide for myself for the 3.5. Could be useful for people who want to go there.
Image
The helmets on pics dont fit with some named driver, because there are always changes in the entry lists...

Donington was as accessible as normal when I went a few years ago, dunno about Silverstone - guess it comes down to how many marshals they can get hold of on the day...

so they're using the 'short' version AND the chicane on the backstraight?

meh

edit: Nevermind that, must have been for demo runs only.

What's Vergne so angry about? Ricciardo did nothing wrong at all. Not his fault he couldn't pass him and even almost took Ricciardo out.

Wickens on pole for the penultimate race of the season.

I hate this every-series-season-ending time. Its so depressing. :(

Wickens has checked out. 10+ second lead and growing.

Vergne in 4th.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
