Pretty impressive indeed. But I have to say if your biggest opponent was Giedo van der Garde, the quality of the drivers wasn't that great.

GP2 should think about implementing DRS next year.
Apparently they did but decided against it:

"We considered many options during the design of the [2011] car, including moveable wings and KERS," he said. "But we decided against them as we felt it was not in keeping with the spirit of our series.

Agree with that last quote.

Also that GP2 wings have less downforce so the benefit of the DRS would be much reduced to the point of not being worth it.

But yeah, if you want to make a moral point out of it, that too.

DRS is an F1 fix to a specific F1 problem, to copy and paste it onto other series isn't really the best idea. (Which is why the new WSBR car will be interesting I think, for all the reasons mentioned above)

I saw Bottas racing in F3 at Donington on Sunday. Won one of the races very impressively.

Yep, and Javi Villa will drive for Supernova two days, Thursday and Friday.

Maybe a sponsorship movement.

Esteban Gutierrez will be driving for ART next season. Wonder what Bianchi is going to do as Bottas is testing for the team?

Coloni? And are you sure Gutierrez is confirmed with ART? I heard he might be off to Addax.

Both GP2 and GP3 will use the F1 points system from 2012. Pole will now be worth 4 points, FL 2 points. Prime & Option Pirellis will also be in use.

Craig Dolby has been testing at Barcelona last week. I hope this means that he will finally get his chance to prove himself in a real high-profile single-seater class.

That will be interesting. I don't think it would mean anything about Superleague, but Dolby deserves a shot, as much as I hate him.

Ricci and Marroc already penalised 10-place grid penalty for ignoring yellow flags during practice

Also the feature race starts tommorow at 8:00 CET in the morning and not 15:40 as usual (if you did not notice :) )
