Cars aren't in A1GP spec anymore. Different tyres and wings. Let's hope they weaked the cars a bit and we get better racing. The TV coverage will be much better this year since they swapped places with F2, the tv director usually missed all the action during the AutoGP races.

Sunday is actually a pretty awesome day on Eurosport with Live WSBR, WTCC and AutoGP right after one another.

Saturday could've been good but repeats of tennis are more important it seems....
*sigh* Can't win em all eh?

Race 1 ended a few minutes ago. To say I'm not impressed is a big understatement.

I didn't see the race. Is it Tambay at the 2nd place in the first turn at the start ? Where was Tambay on the grid ?

I believe he started 12th and went to second locking up at the chicane. Everyone went right he kept left and shot though the gaps with ease.

Seriously something need to be done, the races are so boring (F3, AutoGP, F2 etc...)

I'm watching the AutoGP race from Budapest at the moment and the number of cars are so low in lower open wheel classes this season because there is TOO many series. Make a 3 big exciting Open Wheel series with 30 cars on the grid instead of 10 series with 10-15 cars.

By the way, big impact for Alvaro Barba at T1.

I think that lap was the best lap in AutoGP history

From 12th on the grid to 2nd in 1 lap for Filippi. But I guess he will get a penalty for track limit (he passed 4 cars on the runoff at the exit of T1)

Who would want to see a main event with less than 15 cars anyway?
