Thanks to Cable Open! weekend I'm able to watch these minor motorsport series for once. F3 race at Oschersleben sucked though.

The majority of Belgium would rather get rid of Spa rather than invest more in it, though. All the points you made were very very valid, but it just doesn't work out over here. All of the money goes to football (in which we suck), tennis and cycling/cyclocross. Nobody cares about racing. I'm 100% sure it's even HARDER to get somewhere coming from New Zealand, Chris VD Drift for one has had the luck for being partly Dutch.

Wall, as long Spa makes a big loss every year, it's kinda normal that people wonder why so much tax money is 'donated' for such an event whereas we as a country have a huge deficit on the other part. It's amazing that we don't manage to make a profit out of it. But there you should ask Bernie i think...

They have destroyed their own track by trying to keep F1 at Spa (I couldn't care less if that series didn't show up here anymore) with all the renovations and adjustments, which have cost the track WAY too much. Now they don't have a way back because they still have to repay all that, oh well...I think it's actually amazing if a track CAN make profit with F1, Australia for instance also announced huge losses once again last week

Anyway, this is quite off topic and another discussion :p

seems like 2011 might have a better grid
there was a test with some nice drivers involved: Frijns, Vallés, Garcia, Barba, Verhaug, Rosenqvist, Monras,...

Which Garcia? Borja?

Just seems like a collection of average drivers. Again
