Seems like F1 had a good influence on Jaime Alguersuari, he will start on pole.

Baguette is 4th, while his championship competitors Martinez and Walker will start 19 and 14

rookie Riciardo is 22 (out of 23)

Yea thats because he did 1 out lap and had to come in because of an engine problem... In practice he was same times with his team-mate Charles Pic, and he ended up 2nd. So top 5 was very possible.

http://www.renault-sport.com/en/world_s ... 10298.html

"The Group A drivers were the first to qualify in the blistering Portuguese heat. With an air and track temperatures of 31°C and 45°C, it was Fairuz Fauzy who was first to strike, leading the charge, followed by International Draco Racing’s Bertrand Baguette and Tech 1 Racing’s Charles Pic. Pic responded immediately to claim provisional pole in 1’35”334, however the situation was less favourable for teammate Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian was unable to participate in the qualifying session due to an engine problem."

I know race 1 is live on eurosport, so just search for a stream of that channel. Race 2 isn't shown at all on eurosport :? Damn shame, because the previous races at Le Mans were pretty good and the portimao track is spectacular, at least A1GP put on a fantastic show there earlier in the year.

we have seen a lot of engine troubles this weekend
Valerio was flaming yesterday on twitter because he lost 2 engines in 1 day
it's incredible hot and I wouldn't be surprised to see more engine-failures
