Being srs, great performances by Tracy, Wilson and Tagliani (as shown of the last road courses) would make the race more exciting.

...and maybe Conway can finally put a whole race together. Don't be another Dan Clarke!

I'm surprised this race is on Sunday because the IRL never before had a race on the same date as any race at Indianapolis. But it does start at 6PM which is when the Allstate 400 should end.

That actualy has happened before. Google "Gimli Glider".

BTW, I challenge anyone to draw up a cooler circuit based on that airport map. :)

Yeah, and no IRL Bullshit stewarding and Castroneves Bullshit temper tantrums would help too!

At least it's taking a good CC idea. But it looks like the IRL will go back to using just the CC ideas that have been proven failures.

Hi we're race director, we're going to show you nothing on Fridays, a quarter of all saturday action, no warm up (for no clear reason!) none of the supports and hope you'll pay for three on-board feeds.

To be fair the on-boards were what made it for me. Sitting with them on the multiscreen with the race control messages while the TV had the main feed on Eurosport used to be my favourite way to spend a sunday evening.

Now all I've got is moaning about the state of the IRL and NASCAR. It sucks being a "grown up!" :p

Got tickets from someone at work to go to the track only on Saturday, so just getting ready to head over there now. Hope to get some good pics. Unlike last year I'll be armed with my 55-250mm zoom lens so that should help. :) Not looking forward to the 32c temperatures though... :yuk:

CC Race Director was awesome; $13 or whatever it was for the whole season to get complete coverage plus onboards was amazing; well worth the money. If only IRL did something similar.
