I ended up sitting next to the Atech Reid media girls who do the team's press releases. Awesome Australians, and hot as well. Completely off-topic though 8)

On topic: the guy who crashed in the Marcos probably has a broken spine. I just remember that I said he was "pretty OK", seems not. Hopefully he'll be able to recover :(

I think I saw Earl Bamber walking around here with some other guys yesterday so I suppose you're right about that one. They were chatting about commentating, but I didn't know who he was talking to.

Champion motorsport driver Earl Bamber has appeared in court to admit a drink-driving charge.

Bamber, 21, arrived at Wanganui District Court alone yesterday to plead guilty to driving with an excess breath alcohol level of 793mcg. The limit is 400mcg.

Bamber was pulled over after he was seen allegedly speeding around a corner in Wanganui about 2am on July 31.

Whyyyy?

The cars they have now put on some of the best racing on the planet!

Yeah this year wasn't great and I don't see them turning that around and being able to give the teams a lot of confidence that there'll even be a 2012 season, let alone a new car in 2 years :o

They should just stick to Europe with one car for a few years and try and create a fan base there before venturing out around the world

No need for the car, we need tracks to race on. Only Zolder and Assen seem reliable partners, so race also at Spa and Zandvoort. 2 tracks at the beginning of the year, the other 2 at the end. Then some races in between in other European countries.
