I have to say, the field does look kinda awesome. Really colourful. Craig Dolby's a bit of a suprise choice to driver, however, we will see how he goes.

I must say I kinda look forward to this. No idea where I'll watch it, but those cars look pretty good.

For some reason, that car remind me of the Panoz DP01 that Champcar used last year.

I'm not sure this is going to work tbh. Barely any of the general public know it exists, and football fans aren't suddenly going to become motorsport fans just because their teams colours are on the car. Plus there's the fact the only channel showing it here in Britain is Setanta which not many people have, I'm expecting it to fizzle out after a while tbh.

Interesting fact pulled from the Autosport supplement on the series-

When Doornbos lines up on the grid on Sunday, it will be for the third incarnation of Minardi in his career, as the team is run by Giancarlo Minardi's son.

great cars, great sound, great concept... it's a shame that RTL only show highlights the week after.

Just saw the trailer for the race on TVI. I hate this TV channel, but it's a BIG popularity boost for Superleague here in Portugal to have them broadcasting the races - I believe it still is the channel with the highest TV shares nation-wise. Showing the race live on Sunday afternoon...!

I bet it's going to get highest shares than F1, which is on a pay channel. Unless the organization of the races flops bad early and TVI is forced to drop it.

At least, some FC Porto fans in Portugal will see more than just plain old football...just imagine FC Porto´s "Macaco" cheering on the track, instead of the soccer stadium...just funny as hell!!! :D

Does anyone know of a live stream? I think Portugal´s TVI is just showing the second race live...

Not only that, the wing mirrors are fairly flimsy as well.

Yep 1 mirror arm is bent, and it looks like 1 car has lost its mirror.

I just read in a brazilian site that Gommendy (FC Porto) had a hard crash into the tyre barrier, is there any pic or video of the crash?

Can anyone tell me what time the first race is? When I checked last night the countdown timer would end at 9:00 my time which would make it 3 AM Britain time. I know that isnt correct.
