Correct.

Indeed. Maybe in 2011. That might be the year when I'm in the stands instead of at front of my screen.

This was one of the worst races I've ever seen.

Not long ago I'd have disagreed with you, to a point!

However I've been thinking about this recently while watching som eold CART races & I agree we need turbo's back, we need multiple engine suppliers & more open chassis regulations.

Well they've already said the new engines will be turbo's but they are still in talks with engine manufacturers.

The race.

There were about five laps of interesting racing, and two moments of suspense, both revolving around Vitor. The aero package, along with the engine package, produced some mind numbing racing. Seeing cars jockey around after a restart isn't my idea of a good race.

Hell yeah. Nothing would add competition (and lots of entries) like an open formula.

Open up the rulebooks, and put 5 million dollars on the line, and you've got guaranteed competition.

I definitely agree on the engines. The races are becoming a lot more predictable with virtually no engine problems these days. I recall Hornish Jr having a blow up at Texas three years ago or something, but not since then. The bulletproof reliability takes a lot of excitement away from the sport.

You just flat out couldnt pass and once you caught someone, you got aero push and couldnt pass. It was pretty lame.

Great, Milwaukee won't be Live on Sky next week

They have 4 channels & the Red Button to use, why not just throw the Indycar on the Red Button while NASCAR's on so we can view Live & then show the Delayed coverage on one of there 4 channels afterwards.

Great winner that is for shure.

In terms of spectacle only the crashes where some pretty spectacular ones, the rest of the race was kinda meh.

Well done Helio :) great month of may for him, nice guy and he deserves it... Shame the 500 isnt the Classic it used to be, I was not enthralled by the racing but it had some exiting moments...
Cheers to Helio, :sips milk :)

Well he has said he had always wanted the IRL to be like CART when he started it.
