You'll probably have to watch it on the ESPN channel on Tv Ants like many did today.

Dixon, who needed an eighth place in the PEAK Antifreeze & Motor Oil Indy 300 at Chicagoland Speedway to clinch, finished second in the 200-lap race -- by 0.0033 of a second to Castroneves in the second-closest finish in IndyCar Series history. The closest finish is 0.0024 of a second in 2002.

Well technically that would be Will Power as he won the only CC race this year.

Talking of which, I see they've finally counted the Long Beach points in. Last time I checked they hadn't

Well not for Tracy or Tagliani or any other driver that didn't complete the full season. I have no idea why.

Awesome racing  Why isn't it like this on all the ovals? I remember when I started watching IRL in 2002 they had these kind of races on almost every oval. But since 2004 they got more single file.

Whatever they did for this race they should do it for every oval race, because this 2 and 3 wide racing is what the fans want to see.

I'm guessing having 28 cars and the ex-CC teams being more competitive on ovals may have been a factor.

If the new chassis behaves on ovals close to what the pre-2003 chassis did, will be awesome.

It was actually 2002 when they started stupid things like running the Handford device on all ovals making places like Milwaukee a waste of time.

But any time before that is the finest oval racing on Earth, imo...
