About Euroseries 3000:
Euro Formula 3000 is a motorsport single-seater series and a type of formula racing.

The series started in 1999 as Italian Formula 3000, organised by Pierluigi Corbari and using old Lola chassis with Zytek engines. The teams used the Lola T96/50 in the first two years. At the beginning nearly all races were held in Italy, but very quickly the series was enlarged and had venues in different European countries.

It became European Formula 3000 in 2001, when the FIA-run Formula 3000 series became "International". The next three years (2001-2003) saw the Lola T99/50 in use. For 2004 Superfund became the series' title sponsor, planning to use a new car with a new set of regulations, named Formula Superfund, but the funding was pulled before the 2005 season got under way.

That year, the series reverted to an Italian national-level championship, now organised by Coloni Motorsport. In 2006 Coloni reestablished a new European championship named Euroseries 3000.

2005 also saw the establishment of a rival series, named 3000 Pro Series. Also based in Italy, it was organised by Peroni Promotion and used Lola B99/50 chassis alongside 2002 cars. MTC Organisation took over for 2006 and renamed it F3000 International Masters, running a support series to the WTCC. In 2007 this series changed regulations, with N. Technology now running technical operations for MTC Organisation, and it became the International Formula Master.

In 2007, the Italian Formula 3000 championship returned, named as the Campionato Italiano F.3000 which runs alongside Euroseries 3000.
Updated calendar:

14-15 April Imola (ITA) - Testing

19th April IMOLA (ITA)
17 May PORTIMAO (POR)
28 June MAGNY-COURS (FRA)
02 August DONINGTON (GBR)
09 August ZOLDER (BEL)
20 September VALLELUNGA (ITA)
18 October MONZA (ITA)

Moving the Donington date to August means it will support Superleague Formula, and no longer clash with WSbR at Silverstone :) I noticed the British Superkart championship is also at the meeting.

Dutch Power Pack is not coming to Zolder this year :(
I think the ES 3000 will drive with the 24 hours of Zolder...

Tbh this is the only major(?) feeder series in Europe I have little interest in, although occasionally some good drivers come out of it.

Not really, was boring as hell last year. Only 10-12 cars raced.

Lola is going to use the A1GP car for a new chassis for this series, looks much more professional with their "own" chassis. Guess Lola didn't knew what to do with the old A1GP cars. Also the engine got a lil bigger as it has gone from 3.0 to a 3.4 producing 550 BHP now (Still with powerboost).

Nice, and they race in Zolder, so if they have a decent field I might go to the event.
