F3 Open is now Euroformula Open. Better remove the F3 in the topic title before the FIA comes after us

But if a series doesn't run to the standard regs of F3, then it isn't F3 and they shouldn't use the name. It's clearly only a potential issue now because the regs have been revised.

It's the FIA being dumb again, F3 has always for as long as I can remember run to slightly different rules in each Country, dunno why it's suddenly decided it's an issue now.

Isn't F3 on its arse almost all around the world? Part of that is the huge number of competitive series, part of that is down to costs of an F3 season and then part is due to different series running to slightly different regs. The FIA are trying to bring F3 back to life and have been doing so for a few years. They are concentrating on costs and a standard(ish) series that each region can adopt. I'm sure the FIA seems to being doing things poorly (no surprise really) but you can't criticise them too much when British F3 for instance has done such a poor job of running itself these past few years and series like EuroF3 Open aren't even running anything close to F3 bar old F3 chassis.
