The image quality of both onboard and trackside cameras is really poor. Can't believe that it is FOM who are providing the coverage.

Why do you think it's FOM? Probably not because they need to be setup in Singapore in 4 days, it's just the broadcaster that does FIA GT because they are the main racing series at Portimao this weekend. And last week it was GT3, so their camera's would have been at the track allready. FOM only brought their onboard cams and timing graphic machine imo

Trust me, it is / was FOM (or F1 Communications to be more precise)

Well, it's hard to tell these days because FOM have become just crap as other broadcasters :D

Not really. FOM is way ahead of any other broadcaster in terms of broadcasting quality. They should add just a bit more "dynamic" to their coverage.

Glad to hear that apparently Herck and Petrov haven't got any major injuries or anything. That was a scary accident.

Race was a bit average compared to yesterday's, and the Eurosport commentator replacing Martin Haven for this weekend was bad again like yesterday.

Giedo van der Garde will test for Barwa Addax on Wednesday. He might be a serious championship contentder for the 2010 season.

Too bad, a fight between d'Ambrosio and v/d Garde in 2 top teams would be great :p

iSport was very competitive when they had Senna and at the end of last season, so it might be a good team to be at in 2010

Bianchi confirmed at ART for next year. D'Ambrosio and Japanese F3 champ Marcus Eriscsson also did well in testing for them at Jerez, with Ericsson being fastest on the last day.

I wouldn't say that, Kobayashi was Asian GP2 champ and often better in European GP2. Not that I'm saying he is good, but he's not crap

I doubt ART would want to go with two rookies, so that's good for D'Ambrosio as it rules out Ericsson. On the other hand, Bianchi's their golden boy now and the second seat in that team has been dodgy the past couple of years. See how hopeless Filippi, Maldonado, even Buemi and Ammermueller were there.
