Ireland and Portugal just had good cars and a great pit strategy and blew the firled away, the was plenty of good racing from there on back.

Malaysia, GBR, France and maybe Switzerland could be easily between them taking USA from 3rd to 6th or 7th, and then it'd be an "acceptable" gap.

Holland had a drive trough penalty so they could have ended higher.

Obviously Carroll is just that good :p

It's true though. A lot of decent cars had problems or made mistakes and left a big gap back to 3rd.
