Feature Race was nice with some excellent battles but sprint race was boring!

I was not expecting A1GP Team India to score points in feature race .. well its nice but they had chance to score more ... Narain fucked up in second pit stop ..without it i guess they could finish one or two position up!
Best overtaking: Fauzy(MAL) on Martin(AUS) turn 1 from outside 8)

I have learn this from other forum ... India, NZ, Brazil and Lebanon are all part of same engineering group(David Sears Motorsports) and share all setup information and data.Last year,India was with Arena Racing(all alone!) and Germany was with David Sears Motorsports.
I hope this helps ;)

I warned you all. 8) It's the first win for us in the series, well done Filipe.

I still need to download the race to watch it.

Well done to Portugal  The race wasn't that good by A1GP standards but the track wasn't really suited to a series this big. Looking forward to Sepang.

+ Carroll rocks :p

Went back to bed before the end of the feature race, sounds like I missed the best bit lol. Track really was shit for watching racing on, so I decided to get a bit of extra kip before work.

What I saw was promising for the new car though, looking forward to Sepang where it can really stretch its legs.

There was some loss of performance I'd say, maybe not because of David Sears fault. I say that because in Season 2 David Sears was responsible for both champions and runner-ups (Germany and New Zealand).

I doubt that situation will rise :p
Realistic goal would to finish season 5th or better.

My Sky Plus box crapped out and didn't really record the audio all that well....was it just me or were there no pitstops in the sprint race? :?

Race seemed quite good from what I could make out though, thank god for the power boost since it created most of the excitement this weekend.
I liked GB's round the outside move at turn one on the opening lap and Australia's round the outside move midway through the feature....some great overtaking :)

No crashes either, which considering the state of the series is probably the best thing that could've happened...any serious impacts and we might start losing the car count! :o

Right thank you, I wondered what had happened.....

Lets hope it's "unsafe" to do that for the rest of the sprint races....maybe a few features too!

Sadly, I've completely lost interest in this series. A few months ago it was my favourite racing category as well...

Maybe I'll come back to it later in the season if it still exists.

The first race fiasco with new teams getting the car ahead of the long-standing top teams, and the latter not being properly compensated with the 'drop one round' system just means it's a championship where some teams have been given an artificial advantage over others. Dunno what else the organisers could've done, but it just wrecked my enjoyment of the series tbh.

I do have the races on my computer, so if I decide to get back into it, I can catch up on what I've missed. We'll see.

I wondered it had to do with that.

I think we can have a great championship battle despite all this mess. But I never watched A1 GP thinking about the championship as whole, to be honest. I remind first season was all about France but even this way races were good.

I believe that as I got used to watch it race by race, I didn't get too annoyed with this mess. And I really hope you keep following the series, jdh. You were one of the most enthusiasts of it I've ever known. :)

*stand
As i said earlier i have high hopes this year
... the abnormal start of the season isn't going to help and Narain have good race pace but qualifying always nullify's that ..like Ospi said. Also few competitor are more consistent than him.

That's a weak excuse for not watching anymore :D The organisers did everything they could to put on a show and there were only 2 cars less than we had at Chengdu. And considering the current economic state IO think A1GP is doing a great job. 2 races that were practically sold out, Sepang obviously won't be that packed but the races will be awesome.

All A1GP needs for the future is a solid schedule with no big gaps, a maximum gap of 3 weeks between races.
