Radio wasn't working according to Prema.
Is this really an official explanation?

The were two radio segments in the broadcast. After the initial chequered flag at 41:55 (driver-to-pits, can't make sense of words) and after the red flag at 44:00 (both ways).

Mercedes have announced that Pin is joining Marta Garcia in FRECA with the Iron Dame, doing double duty with F1A (triple with WEC) . So she'll be competing in the championship that she'd compete in if she were to win F1A...

Oh, someone in Mercedes does have 2 functioning braincells. There is clearly no point in sheparding Pin up the designated ladder for women, as she is already too good for F1A. So it makes a lot of sense to get some experience in FRECA now. And if she does find herself at the pointy end of that as well (unlikely, at least this early), then they can move her to F3 proper for next year.

Not to mention that F1A was run like a joke last race and it would pay to get her out of there ASAP.

Courtney Crone, currently in Lambo Super Trofeo NA and previously in an LMP3 at IMSA, will be the wildcard at Miami.

Probably the best race we'll see here this weekend, some fantastic 3 wide overtakes (2) and a lot more passing

These cars seem suited to this track even if F1 isn't....

Good race, less dumb crashes than in Jeddah. Especially impressed by chambers coming out on top of 2 different 3 wide moments into turn 11.

Miami is actually a decent enough track, there's places to pass - unlike Monaco, Hungary and Zandvoort.

IndyCar should try this place.

no track limits rules for F1A or they can pass off the track?

F1 really needs to decide if that little bit of tarmac after the first straight in the long looping left hander is legal to pass on or not, it's gonna come up a LOT

Anyway, not as good a race as yesterday sadly, but probably still better than what we'll get in 2 hours

These cars could really benefit from more horsepower, even when they are within half a second of the car in front they still can't slipstream up to them even on the long straight.

Post subject:  Re: F1 Academy Discussion

or they could use bigger unused cars with gimmicks like push to pass, F2 just recently changed their cars, they could use the old ones for this
