I was gone several minutes with less than a minute on the clock because I expected it was all over. They did an Abu Dhabi?

What's the point of Chadwick returning for another season? They can't possibly hype her any more? Or was that Alice Powell who is supposed to be the next best thing? Somewhere out there Pippa Mann must be laughing.

She didn't get funding for something decent in F2 and F3 and it makes sense to be in the F1 calendar.

“The reason I’m not racing in Formula 3 is quite simple – I didn’t secure the budget.”

Is a 3rd championship going to change the situation much if already team bosses and sponsors don't rate the series very highly in comparison to other feeder series (quite rightfully I'd say).

Powell is already 29 so probably won't be hyped the same way regardless. She already raced in GP3 10 years ago.

I sense W series want to become a destination/offshoot series (like Formula E or A1GP back in the day) rather than a pure ladder series

I imagine they projected a few years supporting F1 to build the brand, then give it a couple more seasons they'll be branching off on their own

And I'm sure Jamie won't complain too much, she's won a cash prize twice right?
Could be a better payday than having to pay for a drive in F3/2

Isn’t the “cash prize” conditional on her securing a drive elsewhere? No drive = no funding, that’s how these prizes always were in the past.

10 seconds penalty for Garcia for the contact with Kimiläinen and 30 for Chambers and Eaton for not respecting the SC line.

Kimilainen spun on her own there. Championship looks to be quite over after 2 races though. It's obvious Powell doesn't have Chadwick's speed and Kimilainen is leaving points on the table again.

Well, if two titles weren't enough to move up I presume three or four won't be good enough either. If Chadwick doesn't want to go into sports car racing and maybe follow Christina Nielsen as IMSA class champion then what is there to be aimed at? DTM? BTCC?

A pity that Noda seems to be the drizzling shits when she's forced to use the same tyres as everyone else.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

What's the story with the tyres? I was surprised to see her so far off the pace, last I heard she was the Next Big Thing.
