Looks good for Chadwick, she will start both races from the first row while Powell is in the 5th row.

Caitlyn Jenner has bought a team, which is pretty good news for the series!

2 Extra cars on the grid? Or taking over an existing team?

The 'teams' weren't really teams in the first place - it was just cars paired off and then painted in the colours of a particular series sponsor. The equipment, drivers and support staff were all contracted\belong to the series.

This seems to have a bit more permanence to it, although there doesn't seem to be much detail on what else will change.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Not a great look for the W series when a 2 time champion can't find a seat in another series.

She said she still intends to run at least one other series between these races. The fact that she has signed for the new big-name team makes me think that there is some kind of financial angle to this that will help her land a drive elsewhere.

I'm surprised she couldn't land an F3 seat tbh, I'd have thought sponsors would be tripping over themselves to sign with her

I dunno, I think that reflects badly on every other series still not being open minded enough to want to employ a woman, tbh

The point of the W series was to give talented female drivers the platform to show their capabilities and get recognised in motorsports. They've gotten the talent (at least some of it) but the platform appears to be lacking. If they don't succeed in improving these girl's opportunities in other series I doubt they'll be blaming the rest of the racing world for it.

I can only understand this as a sarcasm.

use those old A1GP cars with Ferrari engines and make them run low downforce setup and see the best ones excel

She's said she wasn't able to secure funding for somewhere competitive in F2 or F3.
