Schumacher and Ilott score equal points, and Schumacher starts ahead tomorrow. That's some great damage limitation

Mazepin will be a threat to the field in F1. Thankfully, there will not be many cars to be behind him next year.

Hard to know what was more stupid from Mazepin - trying to stick Drugovich in the wall or holding them both up and allowing Zhou to get up the road

That dude has no business being in F1 but you know, money

He's fast enough, just needs to be taken aside and given a good talking to. i.e. told Schumacher is not a good role model for blocking Hungary style.

Argh missed this due to a combination of the F2 site only displaying race time in local time and then not being able to find a stream at all

Annoying Schumacher has managed to salvage something, tell me WHY wasn't he penalised for blatantly hitting another car in Qualifying?
Wait, don't answer, I know why.

Breathtakingly stupid defending from Mazepin.

Well, he is filling one of Grosjean or Magnussen's seat. Perhaps he thinks he has to drive like them too

Mazepin's defending was disgusting.

Entertaining race, however.

That was a hell of a race. Some of those blocks by Mazepin were really marginal and so close to putting a car airborne.
Very underwhelming race by Ilott. On the flip side, hell of a recovery drive by Schumacher. Made some brilliant and really ballsy overtakes, solid pace in both stints. The highlight for me was that epic pass on Dick Tantrum. Could not have asked for a better damage control race.

So, if Mazepin doesn't finish 1st or 2nd in the sprint race then Tsunoda can't lose 3rd place in the standings and would be therefore guaranteed the F1 super license?
