Well i think, for the Championship, Michael Andretti put Mike Conway in the #43 car, but RHR also DNQ.... I think this is a bad situation. He can't put Mike in the race, and RHR not...

Disappear Danica and Marco until after the race.

There is no quali format like bump day in the world.

That is such pisspoor management from Andretti Autosport. Why the fuck didn't they harry around the drivers that needed help?

Horrible really. Conway and RHR out. Good lord. Thanks Michael, you prick.

Last two laps Lloyd thought his engine would blow.

That was a pretty awesome bump day. Wish Conway and RHR were in the field.

Pretty happy for Lloyd too, that interview was cool.

Sucks that the two AA drivers who actually seem like OK people are out... plus the two with the most natural talent.

But Chris A has a good point about road course vs oval form.

Replacing John Andretti would be unacceptable. He worked hard for his spot on the grid,

Replacing ANY driver would be unacceptable.

if I were RHR or Conway, I'd be screaming obscenities at Michael the moment the gun was fired.

Just throwing this out there, but if you don't count the Dragon cars, all drivers that missed the show are full time drivers in the series.

That was insane! First time i've ever been able to see Bump Day and can't believe how good that was! Lloyd was amazing, as a Marco fan couldn't believe it, neither could Marco watching him sit there and couldn't do anything but watch himself get knocked out of the 500. But i think being able to go out like that, after having nothing in the car the entire week to put in laps like those Marco did a great job too. He must of been extremely nervous on those laps. I think Andretti Autosport have to be slapped across the face after their efforts though, at one point none of them except for John were going to make it!

Yeah, I couldn't believe how crazy that was.. I feel bad for Conway and RHR, that's tough. I won't lie though, I was hoping for it to keep raining in order to keep Danica out.

I really like the system that they have for the 500, there's no "well you were in line before the gun went off so I guess we can let you make a Q run still".. also, excellent job by the workers getting the track dry, I thought they did an excellent job the couple times they had to do it.

That was a bump day from back in the good ole days. Everything was right. High drama, crazy weather, who's in, who's out, racing against the clock and the rain... I love Indy.

The two drivers that Indycar absolutely had to have in the race, got in. Let's face facts here, Indy needs to have Danica and Marco since they're recognizable names. Don't get me wrong, as a fan I'd rather have RHR and Conway in there, but to the vast majority of people who are going to watch the 500 it is FAR more important that Andretti and Danica qualified. Outside of fans who watch every race, no one knows who Ryan and Mike are.

I feel bad for Mike and Ryan, but it's Bump Day at Indy. Someone's going to get their heart broke.

True, but Conway would have been a great story, and probably good for ratings because of what he's come back from last year.

Sadly Indy does need Danica at the moment.

Ryan will be driving in place of Junky at Foyt per James Davison and Tony Kanaan

Why RHR and not Conway...he's the one 4th in points at the moment.

Hell, why any of them. Junqueira qualified by speed and they didn't. Fuck, live with it.
