I'd say Bianchi out of those 4, but I think Hartley will be right up there as well

will be difficult in his 1st year
Hulkenberg also didn't manage it during his 1st year of euroseries

Bianchi is a good bet I think

Honestly I have no idea, I rate all of them very high. Bianchi's experience will be a big plus but the others have shone a lot in their series, and could turn out to be special talents.

Should be an epic season with those ART guys vs Hartley. I'll definitely make an effort to follow F3 Euroseries this season.

My money is with Gutiérrez, but it will be difficult being his first season...But he's go the talent.

No F3 euroseries champion won the title in their first year (Except Briscoe ofcourse but he was the first champion) so they don't got any pressure this year yet IMO.

These are my picks for the two crowns. There will be other contenders but I think it will be these two who will win the titles.

That would be one hell of a lineup actually. 8O

8) Oh yeah.

Definitely! I'm already looking forward to see the guys racing again. I guess Bianchi will have a good chance, but the others are very talented, too. I hope for Tambay. And Mücke has strong drivers as well. Can't wait :)

Ricciardo is very much an outside bet given that he's never raced in Britain before bar 2 FBMW races at Snetterton in 2006 and the FRenault rounds at Silverstone last year

I think he will do fine. Hartley and Alguesairi did good in their first season, got 1-2 in the championship or they were top 3. Plus he will do testing at some of the tracks, which is going to help him.

I think he will do fine. Hartley and the spanish guy (whos name escapes me) did good in their first season, got 1-2 in the championship i believe.

That's because hardly anyone stayed on to do a second season last year

Still, Ricciardo will win it. Thats my opinion.

Depends on who's the opponents. I don't think anyone's confirmed for British F3, I checked driverdb.com and Ricciardo is the only one there.

Max Chilton and Henry Arundel are confirmed as well for Carlin

Ricciardo has made a good choise to go to British F3

but I still would have liked him to be in the euroseries, that would make an eppic grid :D

Somehow I don't think it was his decision

Post subject:  Re: Formula 3 Discussion (all series)

A good choice is very relative, a driver needs a strong series to race with so he can develop himself, but at the same time can benefit from a weak field as it will be easier to shine and build his reputation. Same goes for team choice, getting a seat on a top team like ART in F3 Euroseries or Carlin in British F3 is generally a good idea, as there's higher chances to win, but the expectations will also be higher.

Honestly I think a lot of it is luck, to be at right place at the right time.

Your right, Red Bull junior place him where they want him. So it wasn't up to him to do the Euro or British series.
